About

Kev O’Neil – Online Entrepreneur.
With a passion for everything design & technology, especially when you can combine both.  I started my first business in 1998.  A graphic design company specializing in corporate communications. We started to then focus on interactive presentations for the Business 2 Business community and created our unique patented software to allow our clients to fully edit CD ROM presentations. This venture really introduced me to the world of 3d animation/filming and user interface design (Ui). Over the years we filmed and produced many award winning presentations (World Young Business Awards) for the UK’s top entrepreneurs.

Currently Founder of 29studios.com & Moviecom.tv, 29studios is a Visual Communications Company with core competencies in video, post production & animation

Always been an Apple fan since 1988.

Best place in the world. (Half Moon Bay, California)

I was born on 29th August 1968 in Glasgow. I have an older sister Caroline, and the most wonderful parents anyone could wish for in Mary & James O’Neil. I had a fantastic life growing up being surrounded by the most important ingredient your family could give you – love, support and constant belief in me. Most of my upbringing was with my family at Dankeith Caravan Park every weekend.

My early passion in life was sport and most of all football. I played for Celtic Boys Club and went on to be offered professional terms with Ipswich Town Football Club and Hamilton Accies. During my football career design and technology was clearly my other interest.

On the 31st January 1987 I met my soul mate Gillian on a blind date and 3 years later we got married on the 14th JUly 1990 at Colzium House.

Then on 19th November 1992 – the best day of my life, our daughter Katelin was born.
She is just amazing and clearly is demonstrating her own entreprenurial skills. Gillian and I always had a vision to start our own business. Gillian worked at Speirs & Jeffrey stockbrokers and I for an international company Avery Dennison. I was head-hunted to go and work for a creative agency in Essex. I took the post, but all the travelling and not being around my young daughter brought me back home. We both quit our jobs and started our first business in 1998. It was the best career decision ever, being in control of your own destiny is just amazing, and drives you forward every day. Gillian and I have now worked together for the last 10years and we compliment each other really well, she is my inspiration. We share the same vision and it is great to have someone in business who you can truly trust. We work 24-7 on our business and we love it (90hours a week and loving it – Steve Jobs, Apple).
